Painting
The final three pictures for the last session are made at the end of a Saturday in which I have spent the day taping, cutting, painting and pulling the tape for five new paintings.
The first image shows one of the paintings: a series of three cuboctahedra and two rhombic dodecahedra.
In two I am ready to begin pulling the tape.
This is a painting that shows the construction of 3 skew-icosahedrons. Each of the twelve vertices is located on one of the twelve vectors of the octahedron. I have painted the second set of three front faces of the second (middle) icosahedron: yellow-green; yellow orange; blue-green. The drying time for these layers is about two weeks.
